AS Roma/GISS
Campus, Sydney, April 2010
The campus saw over 150 boys and girls participate at Belmore Stadium,
home of Sydney Olympic FC. All players showed much enthusiasm and the
first time in Sydney was a great success thanks to the help of new GISS
affiliates NB9 Academy. Director Morris Pagniello commented: "A very
successful campus, very well organised by new GISS affliliates NB9
International Football Academy, and a lot of great talent. We look
forward to coming back very soon, and congratulations to 10 year old
Joshua Karantz who will attend 10 days trial in June 2010 in Trigoria,
Italy. For us it was a great success to see players learn and to have
fun at the same time."
Tecnical Director Maurizio Turone commented: "Very happy with the
talent we saw in Sydney, well organised and we met great people... hope
to see you soon again!" Head coach Joe De Martino commented: "A
tremendous amount of talent to work with in Sydney. Looking forward to
guiding those players on to the European Pathway."
